Rallye jezero Lhota 2025 - how the first Squaring tournament went

We have had our first races in the new format. After more than a dozen Master Searchers, we came up with a new concept of a metal detector race, so we were very curious how it would look in real life and how it would turn out. Those who have ridden in the Seeker Masters will remember the adrenaline of the first few minutes when the winners are decided. It was great, but after all, after it was clear who would be in the Top 10, the excitement was not so great. In the new format, it's full on every round and hopefully everyone involved will confirm that it was great fun with most people enjoying themselves from the first round to the final.

The race at Lhota was a bit of a test event and all the participants (42 searchers went into the race) can take credit for having participated in their first tournament in Squaring! We definitely have more plans with the new race and will prepare a few more tournaments this year. But next year we would like to set up several permanent competitions, which would produce a National and, at the moment, European and World Champion at the end of the year 😀.

So you definitely have something to look forward to. After all, the next race, which will take place within the 25th years of Geocaching in Žluté lázně, is literally around the corner.
