When a migrant treasure is found

As most searchers have probably noticed, an incredible "moving" treasure has been found recently, which at least in our country has almost no competition. The find was made by the Slám brothers, so I asked Lukáš and Jakub if they could answer a few detectorist questions.
1. Hi guys, now a few days after the discovery, have you breathed the "glory"? 😀
My brother and I agreed that we didn't feel the "glory" that much, but any recognition is and was of course nice. Anyway, we're both cool.😀
2. Most seekers don't find anything like this in a lifetime, you have to admit. How did you feel when you found out what you were holding?
As for the feelings on the actual find, it was of course amazing. From the excitement, to the fact that we couldn't believe what we were holding.
3. You handed over the find to the T.G.M. Museum to Katka Blažková, whom I have known for years as one of the biggest heartthrobs in our country. What was her reaction?
I would probably sum up Mrs. Blažková's feelings by saying that they were basically the same as ours when we first saw the beauty. Huge joy with the vision that it could be something really great.
4. And how was it with the actual retrieval of the find? Did you call the archaeologists right away and how deep were the items?
First we carefully picked up all the objects that were about 20 cm below the surface, it was immediately clear to us that the find would be archaeologically significant. Since it was a Saturday and we had the cooperation of the museum, we packed the finds carefully and on the first working day of the following day, called and then met with Katka Blažková.
5 There really are a lot of Equinox noises like you on LP. I guess everyone would be interested to know how your detectors are set up?
According to consultations with friends and experience, we mostly still go to the forest setting with multi frequency, at most we change the sensitivity according to the location. A few days before the actual find, we got a second Minelab Equinox 800 and my brother was looking with that. One of the first digs and he had such a blast.
(editor's note.. it says to silver plating the new detector, but gold plating is probably better :))
6. You are the discoverers of a wonderful treasure, but still. What is your dream treasure?
I would say that such a find is everyone's dream and that we will hardly surpass this one anymore. But we go looking, as a hobby, it's just nice to be in nature, relax and maybe even dig something nice. We're still happy to see ordinary copperheads. But we'd like to find some gold, it's always eluding us, or maybe a nice medal.
7. Where has working with archaeologists taken you both and what would you say are the benefits for prospectors in general and why should they go it alone?
Working with archaeologists is definitely worthwhile. One of the benefits is the opportunity to visit interesting archaeological sites and participate in research. After all, it is a pleasure to see something like this, whether in research or in the museum itself in a display case.
I have no choice but to say that anyone who really enjoys history should not hesitate to work with a museum. We personally have had nothing but positive experiences from it. Who knows, maybe together we will come to a better appreciation of finds by the state. But it is always better to go looking for pleasure.

Samozřejmě nesmí chybět zmínka, že se to našlo equinoxem😁 ještě chybí ID, ať pak kazdej ví, že má pod cívkou zlatej poklad
Kluci je to nádhera, těším se až se na to pojedu podívat do Rakovníka

To JohnDeeere: byl tady minulý týden jeho mladý a říká, že si po těch detektorech z tv shopu musí vzít něco pořádného. A já, tak to jo, a co to bude? A on, Go Find 44 
Na druhou stranu, na to že ten poklad vyzvedli v červnu 45 chlapci z USA, se to hledá pořád dokola už docela dlouho Navíc určitá část to archivu se pak dokonce vrátila zpět, jelikož si ji Československo vyžádalo....chce to nasadit si čepičku z alobalu, nedívat se na oblohu když letí letadla a především se nenechat zvyklat tím, že je země kulatá.

hele, bráchové, Velká gratulace k tomuto unikátnímu nálezu, todle se už nikdy nenajde......taky přístup na 1*, co více dodati, jen ať zdraví slouží a daří se ve všech směrech, další dobré nálezy vám již přáti nebudu, bo vy už máte splněno

- áno, vždy je lepší chodit hledat "pouze" pro radost....
Když jsem to četl na CT a viděl v TV, tak mi spadla brada a hodně nízko, dlouho to ve mně syčelo až jsem si byl před setměním pochodit prochozené místo...No taková pecka jako od těch bratrů to nebyla ale v jiném smyslu možná>nárazový zapalovač do minometu...PČR oznámeno, borci vklidu a já čistou hlavu.
K nálezu tedy obrovská poklona tedy k přístupu a gratuluji. Dělá to hned hezčí pohled na nás mávající.

pokud někdo neví a chce si lehce počíst. Škoda, že se to nedochovalo všechno ale již bylo vypleněno před staletími. Třeba v budoucnu to dá nějaký šikovný tým s ony nálezy do souvislosti Kdo ví.
