Manufacturer code:
The AstroMaster series is designed for beginning astronomers, it is also ideal for children. AstroMaster are robust, reliable and easy-to-use devices, equipped with quality mechanics and providing excellent optical performance. Operation of the binoculars is simple, assembly without the need for tools. The AstroMaster series is intended for the initial observation of bright objects such as the Moon, Saturn with a ring structure, Jupiter and its bands and moons, nebulae and brighter star clusters, and some very bright deep-sky objects. AstroMaster is a multi-purpose telescope and each model is excellent for terrestrial observation of the landscape or wildlife and birds.
The high quality of the optical elements used and the full treatment with multiple anti-reflective layers offer an unusually sharp and high-contrast image for this class of binoculars. The pre-installed telescope viewfinder is of the Star pointer type (red dot) and allows you to quickly and easily find the object you want to observe. The basic equipment of refractors (lens binoculars) includes a reversing prism, giving a side- and height-oriented image.
It includes a height-adjustable steel tripod with a storage surface, which provides a stable platform for your binoculars.
If you are interested in terrestrial observation or observation of your favorite star or planet, the models mounted on the alt-azimuth are ideal for you. Alt-azimuthal mounting is very similar to a photographic tripod. It has two axes, around which it rotates in height and in a horizontal direction around the horizon - in the so-called azimuth. Alt-Az models have a comfortable handle with an integrated clutch for easy aiming and smooth movement.
Models with parallactic (equatorial) mounting offer fine and precise telescope adjustment. This is a traditional assembly of astronomical telescopes, which is oriented in the direction of the Earth's axes. The telescope can describe the arcuate motion of celestial bodies in the sky, when you set the Moon to the field of view of the telescope, for example, just rotate the telescope around one axis and you will still see the object you are observing in the field of view of the telescope.
