Helikon-Tex® OTP® VersaStretch® softshell trousers

The OTP VersaStretch softshell trousers are an outdoor version of the much-loved UTP combat trousers. They have a more civilian look but retain the high functionality of their predecessor.The anatomical fit and tweaking of some of the functional features to better match field use makes the OTP pants from Helikon-Tex a great piece for a variety of outdoor activities. The abbreviation OTP in the name - Outdoor Tactical Pants - refers to their purpose. The fabric used is sufficiently durable, lightweight and breathable, the addition of elastane gives them elasticity. The Dupont Teflon Shield+ finish protects against light rain and wind, and in addition to water-resistance, it also gives the trousers oil resistance and prevents stains. The trousers have reinforced knees. There are also inset pockets on the knees for low-profile protectors. The lower edge of the trousers has tunnels for a drawstring.

The fitted elastic in the back and the Velcro waistband fastening allow for some degree of waist circumference adjustment. Large belt loops allow the use of wide belts up to 50 mm wide (e.g. Cobra Competition Range Belt or Urban Tactical Belt). The denim cut on the back of the trousers prevents them from slipping when moving.

The placement of a total of 10 pockets allows you to distribute the load of essential equipment close to the middle of the body, around the hips and waist. The edges of the two front pockets are reinforced to resist abrasion when carrying clip-on gear (writing pen, folding knife, multitool, etc.). The two front thigh storage pockets made of zippered mesh are designed for carrying documents and small personal belongings and are equipped with two internal elastic loops. Two smaller thigh pockets with Velcro flap can hold devices like Smartphones or AK/AR magazines. On the back, there are two wide mesh back pockets with open top entry and two narrow back pockets with adjustable depth - with storage for adjusting volume, pocket flashlight, pistol magazines, etc. Carrying capacity of the trousers is increased by two fixed fabric loops for "D" rings, carabiners, keysor fastening cords located on the front belt loops.

SIZING INSTRUCTIONS

We want to make sure that the clothes you buy actually fit you - that they serve their purpose correctly. Please take a moment of your valuable time to review the measurement guide and corresponding size chart to avoid mistakes.

To take the right measurements, find clothes that fit you well and measure them.

Chest - Button your clothes and lay them on a flat surface. Measure from the left edge to the right edge just below the sleeves.

Waist - Button the garment and lay it on a flat surface. Measure from the left edge to the right edge at the waist.

Sleeve length - With the shirt you like, measure with the arm at your side from the shoulder seam along the entire arm until you find the length you want. It is recommended that the sleeve point towards the root of the thumb (located at the wrist).

For jackets with raglan sleeves, such as Stratus® or Cumulus®, the sleeves should be measured from the bottom of the collar down to the sleeve cuff.

Inner - seam Fasten trousers. Lay the trousers on a flat surface. Measure the distance of the inseam from the crotch, where the front and back seams meet, to the bottom of the legs.

Trouser length - Fasten the trousers. Lay the trousers on a flat surface with the outer seams on both edges. Be careful to pull all wrinkles and fullness out of the back panel. Measure the distance from the top of the waistband to the bottom of the hem.
