Helikon-Tex Hybrid Outback - pants for the searcher who won't stop
Comfort, durability and thoughtful design - just what you need for a day's worth of off-road searching. With a combination of tough and flexible materials, no terrain or weather will slow you down.
The Hybrid Outback uses durable DuraCanvas® in stressed areas and flexible VersaStretch® panels where you need freedom of movement when walking, kneeling or digging. The material has a water-repellent, Teflon-based finish, with an additional wax treatment recommended for complete waterproofing - perfect for days when rain or wet grass await you in the field. Plenty of handy pockets hold finds, small tools and other gear.

Tip for added waterproofing:
For maximum protection against moisture, the Helikon-Tex Hybrid Outback pants can be easily treated with an impregnating wax (e.g. natural wax for cotton). Simply apply the wax evenly to a dry, clean surface, gently warm it with a hairdryer or iron over the fabric to absorb it, and allow it to cool. Pants treated in this way will have significantly increased water repellency while retaining their durability and comfort.
Whether you're spending a few hours or a whole day in the field, the Helikon-Tex Hybrid Outback is every treasure hunter's trusty sidekick.

SIZE AND CUT CHART
Instructions on how to measure correctly
We want to make sure that the clothes you buy actually fit you - that they serve their purpose correctly. Please take a moment of your time to review the measurement guide and corresponding size chart.
To get the right measurements, find clothes that fit you well and measure them:
Chest - fasten your clothes and lay them on a flat surface. Measure from the left edge to the right edge just below the sleeves, you have ½ the circumference of the chest.
Waist - fasten the garment and lay it on a flat surface. Measure from the left edge to the right edge at the waist and you have ½ the waist circumference.
Sleeve length - put on a jacket or shirt that fits you. Measure with the arm at the hip from the shoulder seam all the way down the arm to where the desired (or tabulated) length is. We recommend that the sleeve reaches to the base of the thumb.
For jackets with raglan sleeves, such as Stratus® or Cumulus®, the sleeves should be measured from the bottom of the collar down to the sleeve cuff.
Inseam - button the trousers. Lay the trousers on a flat surface. Measure the distance of the inseam from the crotch, where the front and back seams meet, to the bottom of the legs.
Total length of trousers - fasten the trousers. Place the trousers on a flat surface. Measure the outer seam from the top of the waistband to the bottom of the hem.
THE TOLERANCE OF THE MEASUREMENTS GIVEN IN THE TABLE IS +/- 2 CM (APPLIES TO CLOTHING ONLY).
