Metal detector Fisher Impulse AQ is a professional pulse induction (PI) detector designed primarily for searching for gold and jewellery on beaches, in surf areas and in salt water. It offers exceptional sensitivity, stability and fast response in environments where conventional VLF detectors lose performance.
It operates with an adjustable pulse delay (7-11.5 μs) and three operating frequencies depending on the mode selected - All Metal (4.0-4.17 kHz), Tone & Mute (3.0-3.1 kHz) and Volcanic Sand (1.54-1.56 kHz). In addition to the classic multi-tone mode, it also offers a silent mode (Mute) for operation in extremely disturbing conditions.
The basic equipment consists of a 12.5" mono coil, which provides excellent depth range and accurate target localization. Power is provided by a 2200 mAh NiMH battery with a battery life of approximately 3.5 hours per charge. The total weight of the device including the coil is only 1.9 kg, the length is adjustable from 109 to 122 cm.
The detector is waterproof to a depth of 1 meter, has an operating temperature range of -10 °C to +40 °C and comes with headphones for more accurate listening of weak signals. The manufacturer provides a two-year warranty for the original owner.
