The Nokta - Makro Midi Hoard metal detector is the first fully waterproof child detector on the market. The detector is suitable for children between the ages of 8 and 12. Midi Hoard has a clear and clean tonal response and distinguishes between ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The weight of the detector is only 880g, making it the perfect tool to start your child off on this hobby.
Your child can use the detector anywhere, whether you are at the campsite or at the beach, in the field or in the woods. The Midi Hoard is also waterproof up to a depth of 1 meter. Thanks to this, your children can safely search the beach without having to worry about destroying the device if they fall into the water. In addition, you can simply rinse the detector under running water after searching.
The design of the detector is telescopic with an adjustable length of 83 to 109 cm. The Midi Hoard uses an 18 cm coil and the detector operates at a frequency of 15 kHz. There is also a small support at the back of the detector to prevent the detector from tipping over when placed on the ground.
The operation of the detector is very simple, so that even a child less than 8 years old can handle it. Everything is easily set up with 3 buttons. The right one is used to turn the detector on and off and for discrimination. The middle one is for the pinpoint tracking mode and the left one adjusts the sensitivity and volume of the detector. The target evaluation itself is handled on the LCD with three images.
