The actual discovery of its production may have been made by accident during the reduction of copper inMesopotamia, it is possible that the first iron droplets processed by humans were in the world as early as 4500 BC.AD.
It's the first of the month and so the new qualifications for the month of June begin. Even though the fields are full of grain, we have been blessed with a lot of beautiful things. I'd like to say that I don't see any clear favourite, but it would be the same as always...
In May we got a good portion of finds and some of them are literally from the category of dreams, despite the fact that it is a very sad time for polers (like me).
It has to be said that the April round of the most beautiful find of the month is 99.99% decided by the kind of margin I'd expect to find a big lump of gold, not an ornate bronze knife. But thanks to that, we can start qualifying for May today, and since there were a lot of finds in May, there is a lot to choose from.
This weekend the detectorists gathered at the traditional weekend meeting in the camp in Chabařovice. It was a great opportunity to meet friends, share experiences and spend time together in a pleasant environment.
