The event took place in the camp in Chabařovice, where we have a searchers' meeting every year in May. With a small exception of the polygon location. Since the pond is drained every year, I could prepare the polygon at the bottom of the pond. The objectives were the same as at previous "Test Drive an Equinox" events, for the opportunity to compare in different soil conditions.
As you may have noticed, the "Test Drive an Equinox" event has been going on every weekend for a few weeks now. For those who didn't make it to the event, or it was too far for them, we would like to bring you a short report and also a video from the last event on Proboštské jezere. At the end of the article you will find recommended settings from both LP and Derek Mc Lennan.
So we have finished the meeting in Uherský Brod. The weather was good this time and I think everything was tested except Eureka. The slope polygon prepared by Olda and Pavel was great and a lot of searchers were surprised how it is with the ranges.
The weather was really good. Detailed research of maps and local sources promised that we would find a place where heavy carts stopped for the night, which is usually full of small silver coins. Holt the boys, exhausted from a day of powering their shaggy engines, were not very attentive....
We haven't found that many dead wheels in a long time. But what can you do, the soil is stony and the Bolsheviks fertilized with whatever they could.....
