Pan Wheeler a pan Wilson založili v letech 1851-1853 firmu Wheeler, Wilson & Co. a začali vyrábět šicí stroje. Od roku 1853 nesla firma název Wheeler & Wilson Mfg Co. Kanceláře měli v New Yorku, Broadway 625. Firma zanikla v roce 1905, kdy ji převzala firma Singer.
