History hunters - mystery on 15.5.2024

This subject came up on the LP in 2015, no one has ever identified it and it doesn't even have any commentary. Distantly, however, it might resemble a number of other items and before we consign it to the dustbin of history we should consider whether it really is just some modern-day trash.
