War Museum of Česká Ves

I'm honored to post this trailer here. Roman, the founder of the museum, is not only a good friend of mine, but also a passionate and very successful researcher and overall a huge heartthrob. There is an incredible amount of honest work behind the whole project. On Thursday, May 5, 2022, symbolically on the anniversary of the May Uprising of the Czech people, the War Museum of Česká Ves was opened to the general public.The museum is dedicated to prisoners of war from the Second World War, fallen Czechoslovak soldiers from the First World War, as well as the fate of soldiers from modern missions.

The museum wants to bring the war history of this region closer to the inhabitants of Jeseniky and tourists alike.Jeseniky has witnessed many war events in the past century. Among other things, 6,000 prisoners of war and more than 4,000 forced labourers passed through Jeseniky.A part of the museum is also dedicated to this topic.
