C.Scope Transmitter 33kHz pipeline probe. A pipe probe is a small battery powered transmitter that in typical use you screw onto the end of a pull wire and push through a pipe or duct. The probe and direction can then be tracked using C. Scope locators set in "generator" mode. As you will soon discover, the probe can be identified with absolute precision, this brings with it huge cost savings.
