The first comprehensive encyclopaedia on the archaeology of the Germanic, Roman and migratory peoples in our country. Following the already published encyclopaedias of Celts (J. Waldhauser) and Slavs (M. Lutovsky), the text provides an inventory of the most important sites (burial sites, graves, Roman camps, settlementstions, depots and isolated finds), but also an overview of the Germanic tribes in our country and their tribal formations, individual cultures, etc.

The text of the book is richly illustrated, including full-page pictorial plates and maps.
