The book summarizes data on more than 900 prehistoric and early medieval depots found in Bohemia, from mass finds of stone tools from the Late Stone Age to denar treasures of the first half of the 11th century. The focus of the whole work, however, lies in depots from the Bronze Age, containing an inexhaustible range of products from the heyday of the Bronze Metal Industry.
The representation of Celtic and Roman coin finds is also significant. Hundreds of drawings or photographic depictions of found objects are an integral part of the list of depots. The entries on the individual findings are preceded by chapters on the nature and development of the deposit.
