C.Scope DXL4 D is a new ultra-modern and high-performance utility locator. The entire XL range has been designed to set a new standard in the industry. The locator combines all the C.Scope technologies used so far, but brings a number of new ones. In addition, the locator is literally loaded with new features that allow the operator to find more, faster and without errors.
The DXL4 D locator is equipped with a powerful signal processor. Advanced software helps the device use the power for perfect detection even in areas where it used to be a problem. (cores of historic settlements, etc.). The addition of new simultaneous use of 33 kHz and 131 kHz helps to significantly improve detection in telecommunications such as sheathed optical wires, etc. Unlike the lower model CXL3, it allows you to measure the depth of network storage.

FOUR DETECTION MODES

The DXL4 D has four detection modes that you choose according to what and where you want to search. Each mode has its specific uses and benefits:

POWER mode: is designed to search for live electrical wires. The mode works based on the mains frequency.
RADIO mode: detects all networks using a very precise passive coil inside the locator. Electromagnetic radiation is induced on all metal engineering networks. Thanks to this, you are able to aim all such nets very precisely up to a depth of 2 meters .
GENERATOR mode: used to detect 33kHz and 131 kHz signals applied to the searched network using the SGA4 or SGV4 generator. The combination of high frequency with a 33 kHz signal makes it possible to perfectly detect even wires with a very small diameter. Generator mode is also used when working with C.Scope probes when laying out non-metallic pipes.
ALLSCAN mode: detects all frequencies and all types of signals. With this mode, you can detect unusual signals that may appear in the frequency gaps between the conventional Power, Radio and Generator modes, and is mainly used in the final inspection before excavation.

Human error often contributes to the fact that an engineering network may not have been correctly identified. The new DXL4 D locator tries all these options, where the operator can make a mistake. The Dynamic swing sensor function and the daily automatic test are used to reduce the possibility of error. The ability to log data can also provide invaluable feedback to your employees' workflows. You will be able to easily identify their professional shortcomings and need to solve them with subsequent additional training.

Depth measurement: When using the SGA4 or SGV4 generator, the locator allows you to easily measure the storage depths of utility networks with the push of a button.

Dynamic motion sensor : If it turns out that the operator with the locator is "swinging" too much during work, a warning tone sounds. This will help you to keep the right search technique constant.

Automatic Daily Test (ADST) : The DXL 4 D has complex self-test circuits. ADST tests the locator every day when it is first turned on, including the receiving antennas. This test can be saved and the operator with the locator is always sure that his device is in perfect order and in optimal condition for use.

DATA : The locator allows data collection. It will record daily how the locator was used. The capacity of the bus is designed to handle 12 months of operation before the data is overwritten. Data can be saved via USB connection before overwriting. The data socket is located in the battery compartment.

DATA LOG TRANSFER via Bluetooth ™ : Data collection DXL4 D has another possibility to use the practical focus of the searched networks via Bluetooth ™ and your phone. C.Scope offers a free download of the RELAY App, which uses a Bluetooth wireless connection ™ for data protocols for smartphones and tablets. You can then email them to your PC for analysis. This provides a very practical way to instantly transfer data from the locator.

GPS MAPPING via Bluetooth ™ : With DXL 4 D and optional Bluetooth installation ™ you can accurately record your work on Google maps, including recording of measured depth, etc.

DATA LOG ANALYSIS : C.Scope offers a free download of the XL2 Edition PC Toolkit, which allows you to manipulate stored data logs and export them to tables and graphs that illustrate all aspects of use.

LCD : The DXL4 D has a large, clear and easy-to-read backlit LCD display mounted behind a protective polycarbonate lens. The display shows the detection mode, peak signal level, signal strength and battery status

Detachable speaker : The speaker can be easily detached for use in noisy work environments, where the use of headphones could easily cause an accident at work. The loudspeaker can be attached to the head using a twisted pair.

Robust and durable construction : The DXL4 D is robust yet very light. It uses the construction of two walls. The locator also meets IP 65 protection against ingress of dust and water.

CALIBRATION : DXL4 D does not require regular re-calibration, which reduces operating costs.

SERVICE : C.Scope provides complete service throughout the EU. The service for the Czech and Slovak Republic is provided by the company Marek Mlejnský, production service and sale of metal detectors.

WARRANTY : The DXL4 D comes with a three-year warranty
