Softshell pants Blizzard StormStretch from the Polish manufacturer Helikon-Tex are part of the model series Outback. It is a modern, versatile all-weather clothing, especially suitable for outdoor and mountain hiking. The hybrid construction composed of StormStretch® and VersaStretch® stretch materials provides durability and maximum comfort even when worn for long periods of time. The fabrics used and the gusset in the crotch allow great freedom of movement and adaptation to running, kneeling and the like. For added water resistance, the pants have a Teflon DuPont water repellent finish. The lower leg is reinforced, and there is a drawstring at the bottom hem of the pants and a hook for attaching the pants to the shoe laces.
The trousers have a small sewn-in belt at the waist. However, there are also enough loops around the perimeter to stretch a classic belt up to 50 mm wide.
On the front there are two classic hand pockets with a reinforced hem on which you can hang a pocket knife, pen or flashlight by a clip. In addition, the trousers have two back pockets and two side pockets on the thighs, which are closed with YKK zippers and have a small pocket inside for small items. Behind them there are zipped openings for ventilation.
The Blizzard trousers are oversized, which should be taken into consideration when purchasing. This makes them the perfect second (outer) layer.
