The EQUINOX series has been designed for the serious seeker of coins, jewelry, etc. who wants to upgrade to a high performance detector without the high financial cost. However, it is also suitable for novice searchers, thanks to its very easy operation and ability to work in all environments. The EQUINOX range features Minelab's Multi-IQ multi-frequency technology, which combines very fast recovery after target acquisition with low-latency wireless technology and a very lightweight, yet waterproof design.

Gold detection mode

Performs well in dry and wet sand and underwater. Beach mode works only in Multi mode and is designed for typical beach conditions.

Best for finding gold nuggets. This mode operates at 20 kHz and 40 kHz, which is optimal for finding the finest gold targets.

User interface

A great-to-read display shows numerical values of object IDs. This puts all the information you need to know when detecting right in front of you. The LCD is very well backlit and easy to read. You can instantly change detection modes and operating frequencies at the touch of a button. The control is thus very dynamic without interrupting your search.

Operating frequencies of 20 kHz and 40 kHz are not available on the EQUINOX 600. The Multi-IQ frequency range shown applies to EQUINOX 600 and 800. This diagram is representative only. Actual sensitivity levels will depend on target types and sizes, soil conditions and detector settings.

Low operating frequencies give greater depth to large targets. High operating frequencies are usually more sensitive to small targets. With the technologies used in the EQUINOX detector series, you can work across the entire frequency spectrum while achieving maximum results.

EQUINOX 800 offers 5 individual frequencies of 5, 10, 15, 20 and 40 kHz and a multi-frequency mode (which uses all 5 frequencies simultaneously). At the same time, 8 recovery speed times can be set after signal reception.

Maximum wireless compatibility - You can connect high-speed Bluetooth headphones (aptX™ Low Latency devices) or the ultra-fast WM 08 module with Wi-Stream support.
