Nexus The MP V3 standard is an analogue inductive balance (IB) metal detector that uses VLF technology and is designed for use in all inland locations. Nexus The Standard MPV3 uses Super Damping technology, which gives it the ability to effectively suppress any type of soil through proper balancing (MP stands for Mineral Power). Nexus The MP V3 standard is the most effective IB metal detector for use in heavily mineralized soils or soils with magnetite present. In this respect, the MP V3 is the best IB-based metal detector.

The detector can be used in one of two basic operating modes - All Metal or multi-tone VCO. It is designed as a versatile instrument for finding both small and large targets at extreme depths and under extreme soil conditions.

A full understanding of the detector's setup and operation is required for best results. The user should always be prepared to experiment with the setup in each location to achieve the deepest setting to take full advantage of the detector's capabilities.

Differences between MP V2 and MP V3 Audio
● MP V2 Dual tone audio.
● MP V3 Customizable VCO (multi-tone) audio recovery rate. Accurate resolution of all non-ferrous targets at maximum depth of detection.

Battery life
● MP V2 8 hours.
● MP V3 12 hours.

RGB Meter
● MP V2 Two-colour LED meter - red for non-ferrous materials, blue for ferrous materials.
● MP V3 RGB LED meter indicating 3 conductivity ranges for non-ferrous materials.

Ground Balance
● MP V2 Simple control with 10 turns.
● MP V3 Dual Ground Balance controls - coarse and fine for more precise GB tuning.

Iron Rejection mode
● MP V2 uses Iron Rejection mode.
● MP V3 does not require the use of Iron Rejection mode.

Sensitivity control
● MP V2 Uses the Sensitivity control.
● MP V3 Does not require the use of the sensitivity control.

Target Identification
● MP V2 Does not have LC-MC
● MP V3 LC-MC A set of controls for identifying minted gold coins and other small gold objects from almost all other non-ferrous targets.

Depth
● MP V2 Detects 50 cm copper pan at 3 meters depth with dual 31-inch search coils out of range.
● MP V3 Clear detection of a 50 cm copper pan at a depth of 3 meters with dual 31-inch search coils.

All detectors are made to order. Production lead times range from 3 to 6 weeks depending on production workload. When ordered for production, you can choose from a range of options which probe the instrument will be fitted with. Additional coils can also be ordered.
