The right wing in Germany grew stronger and stronger. In 1923, the NSDAP political party emerged in Bavaria, led by former corporal and rebel Adolf Hitler. It was called the Nazi Party for short. Its supporters staged a local political coup in Munich in 1923, which became known as the Beer Putsch or Munich Putsch. The "putsch" itself was very dramatic.

On 8.
