ID

Dear friends,

through my friend GM4PRO, I am writing to you with a request regarding the identification of a stamp. So far I have managed to identify every one, but here I am stumped. To put it bluntly, I have not been able to find a clue anywhere that would lead to solving the mystery. Only here on LP was such an ID published in 2014 (with the number 80), unfortunately without any comment. Link here: https://www.lovecpokladu.cz/artefakty/nalez/id-znamka-23-kttw-80-vs-39056/

The anatomy of these stamps is strange to me. It doesn't include the blood type, similar to the way it is usually done for "electricians". The soldier number is not listed outside the unit name, but just in the name itself. They are all basically the same, just the number varies, and from #1 to much higher numbers. The text reads: 23rd / KTTW. 1st VS (No.1 is in the position of the variable number). The stamp is always zinc.

Thank you for any reasonable and helpful opinion.

Sincerely

Wolf
