Cool detector find in Poland: medieval gold and silver coins in a ceramic vessel

A ceramic vessel full of denarii, groschen and ducats from the 15th century was discovered near the town of Bochnia in southern Poland. The treasure was found during a legal expedition by detectorists from an association with the characteristic name of Stater.

All the finds were recorded by a single detectorist association. Now they know what the last jar contained: a beautiful gold necklace weighing 222 grams. It's the first of its kind found in Poland.
