36 gold and six silver coins were discovered by archaeologists during the restoration of the castle pond in Frýdlant. The treasure remained in the local castle and chateau. The researchers reported on the treasure when the pond was refilled.

110 years ago, Petr Petřík, a brickyard employee, discovered a treasure at the historical execution site on Šibeník Hill near Uničov. The depot contained 352 gold coins, mostly ducats. It is one of the most important early modern finds that have been uncovered in Bohemia and Moravia so far.

A rescue archaeological excavation has begun near the villages of Lety and Čimelice in Písek during the completion of the D4 motorway, which is being carried out by the South Bohemian Museum in České Budějovice together with other entities.
