A short bronze sword from the 16th century BC was accidentally discovered in the Váh riverbed near the town of Hlohovec in southwestern Slovakia at a lowered water level. The Liberec Region has decided to motivate treasure finders to hand over rare artefacts. The man who discovered 159 Prague groschen in the forest near Vysoké nad Jizerou was therefore rewarded with CZK 136 920, which is twice as much as the man should have received.
