At least 2267 coins contained Boskovice's treasure. This is the part that has been traced back. The depot discovered a search engine with a metal detector, which, however, concealed the finding and only ended up in crime with its ears worn. Five years ago, the coin could be viewed by the public in Mikulov.

Thirteen years ago, scientists announced that the remains of the last tsarist family, whose members had been murdered in cold blood, had been found. Experts examined the bones found in the Urals. DNA tests confirmed that they belonged to Tsarevich Alexei, the son of the last Russian Tsar Nicholas II. and heirs to the Russian throne, and his sister Maria.

In 2014, amateur historian and detectorist Jim Bailey discovered a set of ancient Arabic coins in an orchard on the American island of Rhode Island. Since then, 15 more of these coins have been found in the US. Investigations have shown that they all came from the loot of Captain Avery, once the world's most wanted criminal of the late 17th century. The finds and Bailey's theories helped shed light on how and where the murderous pirate disappeared.

Archaeologists made a great discovery twelve years ago. During a survey in Kašperské Hory in the Klatovy region, they dug a pot full of hundreds of years old coins. In the end, the experts counted over three and a half thousand.

Grain pits and grave from the Bronze Age

Another important discovery was announced by archaeologists in Brno. In the center of the city they found four pits for storing seeds and a grave with the remains of a man who lived in the Bronze Age. He was buried with several ceramic vessels.
