Become part of an interesting experiment with the construction of an artillery redoubt! We have a lot of information about field fortifications from contemporary military manuals and archaeological research. However, it is difficult to find out how difficult it was to build them in terms of time, organisation and physics. Our experiment is intended to contribute to obtaining such information. On Saturday, October 16, 2021, we will try to build a replica of an artillery redoubt in the area of the Rakovník battlefield. In order to get closer to the reality of the time, we want to involve groups of variously motivated and skilled workers in the construction.
