Detectorist Mariusz Stepien found a rich Bronze Age assemblage near the Scottish border. A rich collection of buckles, a sheathed sword with a complete hilt, as well as a unique horse harness with ornaments, leather and wood remnants from the Late Bronze Age (1000 - 800 BC). This is the first find of its kind in Scotland and the method of attaching the various parts of the harness is the first time it has been seen in Britain...
