The million-dollar treasure was discovered by a metal detector seven years ago by a prospector in Opatov near Luby. In February 2015, the Cheb Museum was preparing an exhibition to show the beautiful depot of Hall's phoenixes to the public for the first time.

26.2.2010 Under the floor of the church they discovered the tomb of the vladyka

Archaeologists discovered the tombstone of the Silesian vladyk under the floor of the church in Horní Moštěnice. According to experts, the nobleman died in 1502. However, the tomb itself was probably looted by the Wallachians during the Thirty Years' War.

Eleven years ago the Venus of Věstonice received scientific recognition. Experts have agreed that it is the oldest ceramic work in the world.

24.2.2008 He discovered copper nuggets in the field

More than three thousand years old objects were discovered by the searcher Vladislav Pícha thirteen years ago in Písce Hory and near Křtětice in the Vodňany region. He managed to find prehistoric copper nuggets, fragments of bronze tools and ceramic amphorae full of copper ingots.

A great discovery was announced eleven years ago by archaeologists working in the ancient city of Aleppo. One of the locals found 250 coins from the time of Alexander the Great while digging the foundations for his house.

21.2. 2016 Detectors found the remains of the helicopter

The remains of a helicopter were discovered by metal detectors by two men five years ago near Damníkovo, near Česká Třebová. It was a Polish machine that crashed there just a few weeks after the occupation of Czechoslovakia in 1968. The pilot and two passengers did not survive the crash.
