Nine years ago, two guns belonging to notorious gangsters Bonnie and Clyde were for sale for half a million dollars. They were carrying the guns when they were shot by police in 1934. Bonnie had a revolver attached with a patch on his inner thigh, Clyde behind his belt.

The disk of Nebra is believed to be the oldest star chart in the world. It was found by two illegal prospectors with metal detectors in Mittelberg, Germany, near Nebra. Archaeologists from the University of Leicester have discovered fittings from a 2,200-year-old chariot. Experts believe it was dismantled or never reassembled. It probably belonged to a nobleman or warrior.

An incredible thing happened nine years ago in Radč in the Trutnov region. Motocrossers there were so wild that they drove silver coins from the reign of Wenceslas IV out of the ground. They immediately contacted the museum.

Treasure hunter and fisherman Jason Hemmings (41) has discovered Roman coins believed to have been dropped by a soldier two thousand years ago. The Dorset man made the haul with a metal detector he bought from a friend for £300. In total he found fifteen bronze and silver coins.

Nine years ago, a collection of military decorations sold at auction in the UK for 312,000 British pounds, or 9.2 million crowns today. Thirty-three pieces in all were owned by William Oakleye (81). The treasure was discovered when the man died.
