Dog walkers discover unique 2,000-year-old human footprints

A severe storm on the north-east coast of Scotland has helped an extraordinary archaeological find. It revealed human footprints dating back some two thousand years on Lunan Bay beach in the Angus area. It is one of the UK's few discoveries of human footprints and the first ever find in Scotland.

1,000-year-old chief's tomb filled with gold

The Ministry of Culture of Panama announced the discovery of an extraordinary tomb in the archaeological complex of El Caño. Inside were the human remains of several individuals, headed by a high-ranking person, literally surrounded by dozens of gold objects, necklaces, earrings, pectorals and many other artifacts made of precious metals and fine ceramics.
