31.3.1936 Poděbrady Denarius Treasure

Almost 1400 denarii were found in 1936 by farmers in a field near Poděbrady. The depot contained coins from the reign of Prince Boleslav I, and also Boleslav II. In addition, coins minted by Soběslav of the Slavník family and also contains a few Bavarian coins.

Silver Meissen groszy and small pennies were discovered by a digger on the farm of the Nemec family in Kučeř near Milevsko. Martin Ramajzl was literally showered with coins from his spoon.

27 Mar 2020 They were building a garage, they found 6000-year-old skeletons

While digging an assembly pit in the garage, the owners found a 6,000-year-old skeleton. Archaeologists were called to the site and found that there were two graves. The discovery came from the Slovak village of Šelpice near Trnava.
