Ferrous Limits
The Ferrous Limits feature of the metal detector allows the user to set limits that determine how the detector distinguishes between ferrous and non-ferrous metals. This feature is designed to optimize detection in a variety of conditions and eliminate unwanted ferrous signals.

FerrousLimits feature allows the user to define what conductivity value is considered "ferrous". This allows the detector's sensitivity to be adjusted to either ignore unwanted ferrous objects or, conversely, to take into account weak ferromagnetic signals that could be potentially valuable (e.g. Historical iron artefacts).

This setting is ideal in areas where a lot of ferrous debris such as nails, screws or other common ferrous objects are present. Ferrous Limits help minimize the time spent digging for these unwanted signals.

Differentsites require different Ferrous Limits settings. In areas rich in ferrous waste, prospectors can raise the Ferrous Limit to recognize ferrous objects, while on historichistorical sites where ferrous objects might be valuable, users can lower the threshold to pick up even weak ferrous signals.
