Tone Volume

Allows the user to adjust the volume of audio tones for different groups of targets

The Tone Volume feature of the metal detector allows the user to adjust the volume of the audio tones for different groups of targets, which helps in distinguishing different types of metal objects based on their conductivity and importance. The main advantage of this feature is the ability to adjust the tone volume to the finder's preference, which improves detection efficiency and reduces fatigue when listening to the sounds from the detector.

How Tone Volume works:

  1. Volume assignment by conductivity: the detector classifies metal objects into different groups according to their conductivity. Each group can be assigned a specific volume level. For example, ferrous targets with low conductivity may be set to a lower volume, while highly conductive targets such as coins or jewelry may have a higher volume.

  2. Customizable sound profiles. This allows important targets (e.g. non-ferrous objects) to be highlighted and less desirable targets (e.g. The loudness can be lowered for less loud objects (e.g. ferrous rubbish) without completely losing information about these objects.

  3. Optimization for challenging environments: the Tone Volume function is useful in environments with a large number of garbage signals. The user can turn down the volume for ferrous targets and focus on louder signals that correspond to more valuable objects.

  4. Flexibility in search. For example, in noisy environments or when using headphones, the user can increase the volume of all tones, while in quiet environments the volume can be set to a lower level.

Summary of benefits:

  • Adapting the volume to different types of metals allows for better recognition of important findings.
  • Helps reduce interference and fatigue caused by constant signals from unwanted metals.
  • Provides greater control over the sound output and makes it easier to search in different environments.

Thus, the Tone Volume feature helps optimize the detector's audio feedback, allowing the user to better focus on desired targets and more effectively filter out unwanted metal objects.
