80 years since the shooting down of two P-51s over the airfield Planá near České Budějovice

On Thursday, April 17, it will be 80 years since two P-51s followed Messerschmidt 262 south after the fight over Klatovy and Prague. Due to Easter, the event will be a few days earlier and as you can see on the invitation, there will be plenty to watch. A 1945 P-51D will be flying overhead.

Traditionally there will be period military vehicles and a fellow detectorist with a wreckage display.
