November turned out to be an incredible month and it's really amazing what we found. The selection is so huge and voting will definitely not be easy.

The bodies of two men in Pompeii, apparently a slave and his master

Once again, Pompeii has proven to be an incredible place for research. This is evidenced by the discovery of two male bodies under about two metres of ash. Apparently they were a slave and his servant who were trying to save themselves during the rampage of the Vesus volcano.

Tadeáš Hájek from Hájek was born

He became the personal physician of Emperors Maximilian II and Rudolf II. The latter made Thaddeus of Hajek the head of alchemical workshops. He also wrote several valuable works. He was born on 1 December 1525.
