In April 2022, then 90-year-old former diver John Hinchcliffe made an extraordinary discovery in Dorset, England: a treasure trove of 67 perfectly preserved extras. Crichel Treasure: Detectorists discover 3,000-year-old rare gold jewellery

In the spring of 2022, a set of three Bronze Age gold objects were recovered using metal detectors in the Long Crichel area of Dorset.
