A heist like an action movie: Perfect action, explosives and ancient golden treasure

The thieves used explosives to get inside. Three unique royal bracelets from the Dacian Empire and a 2,500-year-old famous helmet from Cotofenesti were stolen from the museum in a flash. They were gone before the police arrived.

A gold ornament from the sword of an Anglo-Saxon warrior was discovered in Norfolk during a mass detector operation. Experts have identified it as a pin or 'lock' or 'lock' on the belt of the sword scabbard. It was dated to the late 6th to early 7th century. The published text reveals entirely new and unexpected information. They push back the phase of early Christianity by at least 50 to 100 years, the artefact itself is the oldest evidence of Christianity north of the Alps.

Mummies with golden tongues

In the ancient city of Oxyrhynchus, about 150 km from Cairo, 52 mummies of the Ptolemaic dynasty were discovered.13 mummies carried golden tongues in their mouths, one had golden nail plates. Richly decorated tombs were also discovered, with amulets and other objects with ritual themes.
