Archaeologists discovered the grave of a Great Moravian warrior between Lanžhot and Breclav in 2013. In addition to the bones, they found a sword, two knives and two earrings. The grave dates back to the ninth century.

Coins and other objects dating from the period before Jan Žižka were discovered by archaeologists ten years ago in an abandoned castle in Brandýs nad Orlicí. Specifically, they found eleven coins from the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries.
